Mr. McCarthy has been a litigator for eight years, primarily in the areas of probate/estates, family law & corporate law. He is the president of his own law firm, Patrick M. McCarthy, P.C., based in Bloomfield Hills, and works with Witzke Berry Carter & Wander PLLC in an of-counsel capacity.
Mr. McCarthy is a skilled advocate who has handled hundreds of contested court matters. He is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan; the Oakland County Probate Court Committee; the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan; and the Oakland County Bar Association’s Family Law Committee. Mr. McCarthy also volunteers as an advocate for the Family Law Assistance Project.
